President Zardari urges political parties to unite to tackle challenges faced by Pakistan

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, addressing the 84th Pakistan Day celebrations and army parade in Islamabad, called for unity among all political parties to confront the numerous challenges faced by the financially strained nation amidst escalating political polarization and a rise in terrorist attacks. He highlighted the establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Centre (SIFC) to oversee crucial sectors like mining, agriculture, and information technology. He reiterated support for the Kashmiri cause and demanded a ceasefire in Gaza, thanking supportive nations like China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Turkey.
